Our common carbon steel and galvanized straight seam welded pipes are generally produced by high frequency welded pipe equipment. The high frequency welded pipe equipment has the characteristics of fast speed, which requires that the mold supporting the high-frequency welded pipe production line needs to be strong enough. How should the mold supporting the high-frequency welded pipe production line be designed?


First of all, we should check the shapes of the pipes to be produced. The shapes are different. Sometimes the layout requirements of high frequency welded pipe equipment are different, especially special-shaped pipes. Many times, the welded pipe equipment for producing special-shaped pipes will have more groups than the conventional pipe equipment. The purpose of this is to facilitate molding, This requires that the design of high frequency welded pipe equipment should be designed according to the requirements of welded pipe die deformation.

Secondly, pay attention to the hardware parameters of the high frequency welded pipe equipment, such as the horizontal shaft diameter and the vertical shaft diameter. Because the shaft diameter is different, the requirements for the bottom diameter of the welded pipe die are different. At the same time, the specifications of the key position of the shaft need to be considered. If the bottom diameter of the welded pipe die is small, there may be a situation that it is impossible to squeeze between the dies, Then this set of mould is useless.

Moreover, the edge thickness of the welded pipe mold should be considered. Because the high frequency welded pipe equipment is the equipment producing a certain range of sizes, the pipe has the difference of size and thickness. If it is a thick wall pipe, the edge thickness of the welded pipe mold should also be thickened. The purpose of this is to increase the strength to avoid bursting due to insufficient edge thickness.

Finally, the deformation design of welded pipe die should be considered. This is to design the pass change well. The operation speed of high frequency welded pipe equipment is very fast. If the pass design is not good, it is difficult to produce beautiful pipes.

The molds supporting high frequency welded pipe equipment must pay attention to the above. If one is not in place, this set of welded pipe molds will be difficult to use.
